What documents were u asked to submit...could you please enlist....well June 25 is fairly recent....you should be fine then.
Mine was RFE last November......and am not sure what's the status is....

Our interview lasted about 45 mins, and the District Adjudication Officer (DAO)DAO asked a use so many questions like our first date of entry, last date entry, dob of our kids, employer letter, latest pay stubs, 3 most recent W2 - all for me and my spouse, ; all related to our valid status in US, Also, our expired EAD and AP(Originals) , current EAD, I-140 doc, current H1, FP notices - I guess she asked for almost all possible docs, and asked us to hand over the photo copies.
She had all our documents(starting from earliest H1 to current H1, Birth certificates, Medicals exams, ect in front of her, and looked like she double checked the docs.

So why bring it up at all? l have lived in Texas in hispanic majority communities. I havent met any who want california or texas to be a part of mexico. If we start bringing history into it, then the only people who should be here are the native americans.
Like I said, I am not suggesting CA/TX should be brought back into Mexico. All the Hispanic bashing that happens day-in day-out in the media should be aware of history. I brought it up to show a different perspective.

I THINK I made a contribution of $20. The reason I say "think" is because I used my CC to make the payment and the CC I used is not linked to the Paypal acc.

Giving GC to STEM graduates is not the right way. If US needs to keep these educated people in US then US needs to make sure these educated people get an H1B without any issues and then they are on the path to GC like everyone else because H1B is a dual intenet visa. Jumping from a F1 visa to a GC visa is not correct as F1 visa is not a immigration intenet visa

I would agree to this only is the requirement is made so that only PHD and scientist who have atleats acouple of research papers published be given GC and not every Tom, Dick and harry who completes 4 years engg degree in india from a 2 bit university and whose parents have money and uses this money to pay for 2 years MS.

All I did was posting it in August EB2 India/China approvals thread about what I read and heard from an IO. Just to inform people. This visas are not available only for India/China and not for other countries????
If people think it is not appropriate, the admins can delete all the related posts and threads.

How many days we will have left in Sep month. Now its too late any action we will take may need 15 days or more .. by that time we will have oct month and new bulletin..
rather than there will be a some movement on HR 5882 bill next week.. lets focus on it so it will solve problem for all.
This is also for all and it is not about recapturing the visas alone. It is about justice to anybody whose PD is current. What kind of justice would it be if your PD is current after the visas have been recaptured and you are waiting for 10 years just because your case is not being picked up in the random lottery ?

I had to be persistent with my complaint with the Ombudsman. Finally I got it later in the year. When I sent my complaint in, sometime in July 08, I thought I was among the few who were left out. But this thread suggests that there are a lot who were bypassed when they gave GC's to PD's in 2005 and 2006 last year.

as many are aware, there was a huge rush to buy and sell pre-approved labors during july-august 2007, when all the priority dates were suddenly made current. Tens of thousands of labors were sold by fraudulent consulting companies to many questionable gc seekers, who hadn�t even started the process till then.
It is those substituted labors which are clogging the pipelines now. Just think, last month eb3-i stood at november 2001. Now it is completely unavailable. It can�t possibly be because so many pending labors with such old priority dates suddenly got cleared this month, and beneficiary of these labors filed 140+485 together. I seriously doubt that a candidate whose labor is pending since such a long time is even keeping that gc process alive. In all likelihood he/she must have moved on in life.
There is only one explanation. These labors were already pre-approved. It is the attached i-140 on these labors that are getting approved rapidly. And the subsequent i-485 petitions on these applications are depleting the visa numbers.
The reason of this post is not to start an argument about the ethics of labor substitution. It is just a fyi post to explain the seemingly inexplicable. The chickens are coming home to roost.
